Fatma Aslan-Tutak is an Associate Professor of Mathematics Education at Boğaziçi University, Türkiye. She has undertaken roles in commissions to develop the national mathematics curricula. Also, she has served in the Thematic Working Group TWG20 on “Mathematics Teacher Knowledge, Beliefs and Identity” of the biannual Congress of the European Society for Research in Mathematics Education. Dr. Aslan-Tutak has participated in various international and national projects, and her research interests are teacher education, mathematical knowledge for teaching, measuring mathematics teachers’ knowledge, area-specialized mentoring, professional development to improve in-service teacher practices, STEM education, classroom-based assessment, and interdisciplinary mathematics education.
