Second Semester
Cr. ECTS
---- Unrestricted Elective
The purpose of this course is to enhance the spoken/written performance of the non-native student by emphasizing extensive discussion and essay production. An average of six to ten relevant articles are studied in depth during this semester, their subjects encompassing the fields of psychology, education, history and culture. Having read the passage at home, the students come to class prepared to defend or argue the writer's views and put forward views of their own. Written material is compared to personal case-studies and each student reaches an individual synthesis as far as the topic is concerned.
